Contest: SWAN WORD PLAY TOURNAMENT

Contest Period: The tournament starts at 12:00 on 08/05/2023 and closes at 23:59:59 on 02/07/2023. The tournament will be separated into three individual contests / parts. Individual contest periods apply for submission and selection of entries.

Eligibility: This contest is only open to Malaysian citizens, aged 21 years and above only. Where contestants are below this age, acknowledgement of consent by ticking the box at the end of the entry form by his/her legal guardian is to be submitted alongside the contest entry.  Not eligible for employees and their immediate families of Hwa Thong Bags Industries Sdn. Bhd. (372568-T), its partners and affiliated companies as well as associated and/or business partners.

Entry Method for CONTEST #1: WORD SCRAMBLE (MAY 8 – MAY 21, 2023):

STEP 1: Unscramble and guess the product names shown in the visual. Answers can be found on SWAN Bag’s official website
STEP 2: Follow us on @SwanBagMalaysia (FB) and @swan.malaysia (IG)
STEP 3: Tag 5 friends in the comment section

Entry Method for CONTEST #2: WORD FILL (MAY 29 – JUNE 11, 2023):

STEP 1: Fill out and guess the character names shown in the visual. Answers can be found on SWAN Bag’s official website
STEP 2: Follow us on @SwanBagMalaysia (FB) and @swan.malaysia (IG)
STEP 3: Tag 5 friends in the comment section

Entry Method for CONTEST #3: WORD SEARCH (JUNE 19 – JULY 02, 2023):

STEP 1: Find the 8 hidden words in the visual. Answers can be found on SWAN Bag official website

STEP 3: Tag 5 friends in the comment section

How to participate:

1. Participants are required to refer to each contests’ social media post and submit the answers via Google form provided within the specified contest period.
2. In order for the entry to be valid, participants (or their legal guardian) must follow both @SwanBagMalaysia (FB) and @swan.malaysia (IG)
3. Participants must tag 5 friends in the comment section in the Contest post
4. Entry form submitted must be complete information (Full name, NRIC, Mobile number, Email address, Delivery Address, and other information as stated in the form)
5. Each entry submitted must comply with the requirements below:

• Participants must be the owner of the entry or be a legal guardian authorised by the owner to submit the entry on his or her behalf.
• Entries will be disqualified on the basis of unclear, incomplete, duplicate, copies, illegible or incorrect entries; and or Entries submitted must NOT contain the following:

• Nudity or sexual content
• Coarse language
• Advertising for other products, services, or website
• Copyrighted or trademarked material belonging to a third party (unless legally authorised by the third party to use such material)
• Visible miring, dithering, graininess, blurriness, overexposure, compression artefacts, or other degradations to image clarity
• Any other cause for rejection at the Organizer’s discretion

1. By submitting the entry for the purposes of the Contest, the Participant certifies and acknowledges that the Participant is the owner of the entry, or has the right or permission as the legal Guardian to allow the Organizer’s to use, edit, publish and otherwise alter and re-engineer it without any condition.
2. A Participant is allowed to submit multiple entries for the Contest but only one entry will be considered for the prizes in respect of the same Participant.
3. In addition, the Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any Participant that:

• Undermines, has or attempted to undermine the operation of the Contest by fraud, cheating or deception; and/or
• Are not eligible or unable to provide proof of eligibility to participate in the contest for verification by the Organiser when requested.
• In the event of a disqualification after a prize has been awarded, the Organiser reserves the right to demand the return of the Prize or payment of its value from the disqualified Participant.

Publicity
The Organiser may use a Participant’s entry including without limitation, photos, artworks, text, and any other content or information submitted for purposes of the contest (collectively the “Materials”), and the Participant’s name, and/or likeness, for advertising, publicity, and contest of any goods or service of the Organiser, for an unlimited time throughout the world without compensation, and in any media. The Participant shall do all things necessary to give effect to this if requested by the Organiser. 

Intellectual Property Rights

The Participant agrees that all intellectual property rights in any contents and/or materials submitted, made, or created by the Participant in connection with the contest and any derivative works arising therefrom will perpetually and unconditionally be vested in, assigned to, and owned by the Organiser. The Organiser has the right to use and modify such materials or works in any way it deems fit without compensation to the Participant and the Participant waives all rights he or she may have in such materials or works. 

Entry Deadline for CONTEST #1: WORD SCRAMBLE (MAY 8 – MAY 21, 2023): All entries must be uploaded to Facebook and/or Instagram before 23:59:59, 21/05/2023. 

Entry Deadline for CONTEST #2: WORD FILL (MAY 29 – JUNE 11, 2023): All entries must be uploaded to Facebook and/or Instagram before 23:59:59, 11/06/2023. 

Entry Deadline for CONTEST #3: WORD SEARCH (JUNE 19 – JULY 02, 2023): All entries must be uploaded to Facebook and/or Instagram before 23:59:59, 02/07/2023.

Prizes: There are a total of SIXTY [60] winners (10x Main Prizes for each contest and 10x Consolation Prizes for each contest) to be won throughout the Contest Period between 08/05/2023 and 02/07/2023. 

Every Contestant is entitled to win only one [1] Main Prize OR [1] Consolation Prize throughout the contest period.

Prize Claim/Delivery Date:

The list of winners will be announced on SWAN’s Facebook page [@SwanBagMalaysia] and Instagram [@swan.malaysia]. Winners will be tagged in the winner announcement post by SWAN. 

All winners must follow the instructions provided in the winner announcement and subsequent email correspondence in order to be eligible for the prizes. While every care will be taken to ship out and deliver the prizes to the winners, any failed attempts of delivery for any reason whatsoever. Contestants are responsible for providing a valid shipping address that has a recipient who can acknowledge receipt on their behalf. The Organiser will not be responsible for failed or erred deliveries. No further delivery attempts will be made should the first delivery attempt be unsuccessful. The Contest Entry will then be deemed invalid.

Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable, or redeemable in any other form for whatever reason. 

If any of the Contest winner(s) fail to respond to The Organizer within 7 days of being contacted via email and/or phone call, The Organiser reserves the right to forfeit the prizes or assign the prizes to another Contest participant.

The Organiser may at its sole and absolute discretion extend or alter the Contest Period and Terms and Conditions at any time without any prior notice to any party.

1. Any entries received after the end of the Contest Period (due to any reason whatsoever arising) shall be disqualified. 
2. Any participation in the Contest shall be governed by these terms and conditions which shall remain in full force and effect.
